MELIDE CARD INFORMATIONS

With Melide Card and Melide Card Tourist it is possible to obtain numerous advantages, such as discounts and promotions at participating partners. Discounts are offered upon presentation of the card. In some cases (eg. Splash & Spa offers), to obtain the discounts, vouchers will have to be bought from the Municipal Chancellery.

Melide Card is the result of agreements and collaborations that the Municipality of Melide establishes with public and private bodies and businesses, which cover various sectors and services such as transport, shops, bars, hotels, entertainment venues, events and much more.

For families with children and youngsters it is possible to use Melide Card in the presence of an adult card holder.

Melide Card offers are available all year round and the service is constantly updated, both with regard to the expansion of the offer booklet and the adhesion of new partners, to offer a wider service and more and more interesting opportunities to the citizens and tourists.

Melide Card
Melide Card is intended exclusively for residents of Melide of older age. The personalized card does not have an expiry date and is provided by the Municipality of Melide. Every resident citizen receives the Melide Card directly at home through the postal service, accompanied by a letter of presentation of the service. For newcomers to the Municipality of Melide the procedure is very simple: at the time of arrival registration, the person is directly enrolled in the service and obtains a temporary Melide Card, pending the printing of their personalized Melide Card. The supply of personalized cards takes place in tranches and depending on the number of new subscribers. The temporary Melide Card works exactly like the original Melide Card.

In case of loss of the Melide Card it is possible to obtain a temporary and substitute Melide Card by going directly to the municipal counter. Also in this case, the reprinting of the original Melide Card will take place upon reaching a certain number of requests. The cost of reprinting is Fr. 20.-  

Melide Tourist Card
Melide Tourist Card is intended exclusively for tourists who stay at a hotel in Melide and who are at least 18 years old. The validity of the personalized card is seasonal (annual). Each tourist receives his own Melide Tourist Card numbered directly on arrival at the hotel where he is staying.

In case of loss of the Melide Tourist Card it is possible to obtain a replacement Melide Tourist Card at the hotel.

Becoming a Melide Card partner is very simple, just send an email with your request to cancelleria@melide.ch, specifying your data and contacts and the collaboration proposal. A person in charge of the Melide Card service will immediately contact you to define the terms of the collaboration.
