The museo in erba is a private museum (managed by the association of the same name) made especially for kids, a special museum that offers exhibitions related to the world of art designed for special visitors: children.

The museo in erba, the only museum for children in Ticino, opened in October 2000, is a private museum managed by the non-profit association of the same name. It was born as a foreign antenna of the Musée en herbe in Paris; from 1 October 2010 it has an autonomous statute and has opened up to new collaborations with Swiss and European institutions that realize exhibitions for very young people (Espace des inventions of Lausanne, Center Pompidou in Paris). He also plans his own educational courses. Since its opening it has welcomed more than 138,000 visitors from 3 to 12 years (school classes, groups and families). The museo in erba is divided into an aggregation, exhibition and atelier space. The interactive exhibits, where the child is the protagonist, offer a fun approach to culture that engages the mind, heart and body, stimulating curiosity. The laboratory experiments with unusual and different techniques, always favoring the free expression of emotions, the creativity of everyone.
