Pirates PLAYGROUND

The "Isola dei Pirati" playground in Melide is located in Piazza Domenico Fontana, a beautiful green area in the heart of the village.

The playground is delimited on the north by the Nucleo centrale, on the east by the soccer field and the Swissminiatur, on the south by the Lido Comunale.

The park is unique in its kind and in line with the Melide lake tradition is linked to the theme of water and the port, but proposes modern attractions that meet the most recent safety directives.

To characterize it is the central element, an imposing multi-functional sailing ship, surrounded by an incredible variety of games and themed exercises, chosen and distributed in a usability perspective for the different age groups.

All the flooring is made of anti-shock rubber and incorporates the colors of water and sand, with the insertion of some elements in relief, creating an exceptional scenic effect.

In the area there is a bar with outdoor tables that overlook the Piazza Domenico Fontana, two fountains, two stone picnic tables, table tennis and several benches. Nearby there are ample parking facilities and for those who enjoy walking, it is possible to take advantage of the splendid lakeside walks.
